Apple crumble recipe (gluten free)
I love a crumble and this gluten free recipe means no one misses out, just make sure your oats are also gluten free.
Crumbles fab desserts in the winter time with lashings of custard. But I love them anytime of the year. With a glut of apples, this is a great dessert to whip up. A great crowd pleaser and perfect with some dairy vanilla ice cream. So go on, bake yourself an apple crumble today.

Ingredients
- 350 g apples sliced
- 50 g margarine
- 75g Gluten Free Self Raising Flour
- 25g rolled oats (gluten free)
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- 50 g sugar
Instructions
- Heat oven to 190ºC, 375ºF, Gas Mark 5.
- Wash, core and slice the apples, place in the base of an oven proof dish.
- Sprinkle with one tablespoon of sugar.
- Rub fat into flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add sugar and oats, mix thoroughly and spread evenly over the fruit.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until fruit is cooked and top is golden.
